Business Continuity Manager for Bahrain

We have two requirements for one of our Customers Bahrain. 

We are looking for deployment of these people on vendor payrolls only. Request you to please revert on whether you can provide us with people in Bahrain. Requirement will be for 1 year at least as the contract duration.

Nationality – Pakistanis.

Business Continuity Manager-- JD for Bahrain

We are looking for an outsourced based (Business Continuity Manager - BCM) that can creates plans to keep business functioning after disruptive events: he/she should perform detailed, companywide business impact analysis and risk assessment that includes IT systems, building facilities, personnel and supply chain.

BCM skills should include business continuity planning, project management and problem analysis and resolution, develop and maintain a corporate wide business continuity program that addresses disaster recovery, business recovery and emergency response management. The BCM will be responsible for developing, maintaining and managing the BisB's business continuity program. BCM will support all activities necessary to enable the BisB to respond to a business interruption.

1.       Develop, produce and update BCP/DR materials and documentation (e.g., plans, emergency response procedures, call lists, test results, etc.).

2.       Plan and coordinate all business continuity technical and user testing.

3.       Work closely with IT to develop/maintain DR plans for critical systems and applications and to ensure that internal recovery sites are updated and functioning properly.

4.       Liaise with Business Continuity Coordinators to develop effective working relationships.

5.       Maintain and update the Business Continuity corporate website

6.       Perform risk analyses for functional areas to identify points of vulnerability, single points of failure and identify risk avoidance and mitigation strategies.

7.       Assist in with crisis management in the event of a business interruption.

8.       Develop status reports (e.g., report cards) on departmental continuity plans and prepare management reports as necessary.

9.       Analyze and report on implications of regulatory requirements and industry guidance on BCP/DR programs.

Requirements:

-      BA/BS in business, finance, engineering or operations preferred.

-      Minimum 4-5 years actively developing and supporting business continuity programs.

-      Understanding of broker/dealers, financial services organizations including front office/trading, middle and back office (e.g., clearing) operations.

-      Knowledge of technology product development life cycle, technical infrastructure concepts (e.g., telecommunications, data storage, resiliency, etc.).

-      Quick understanding of business and system operations and the ability to communicate in these areas.

-      Familiarity with the current regulatory environment on BCP for financial services companies.

-      Excellent written and communication skills.

-      Proficiency in MS office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project etc)

-      Self-starter with the ability to work with a great degree of autonomy.
